None of the photos on this site have been commissioned; they were born from personal research and an attempt to transform images into a unique mood, that special pieces claim. I must confess that I like the idea of doing artistic photography a lot.
However amongst photography’s qualities is its reproducibility and flexibility as a product.
As far as I’m concerned, in some cases I like to talk about hand made craft instead of art, because it’s less scary and people feel free to ask a craftsman to be at their service for their wall, room or page. It’s the craftsman’s job to make himself available for the relevant space.
Many of the photos presented have been considered as images complete in themselves, that give their best results printed in a medium –large size. I’m also trying an assembly technique of numerous photos on single panels.
The materials used can be traditional photographic printing paper with lambda printing mounted on hard panels or aluminium or forex.
Some of these are quite suitable to be printed on canvas or normally or even on iron framework, where the unique texture of the canvas completes the final effect of the image.
